Maria Laura B. (Italy)

I’ve started to take lessons with Mohammed Ghudai one year ago. Due to healthy problems I had to suspend my Arabic lessons and I decided to stop forever. But then….I felt very nostalgic.

What I’ve learned from Ghudai’s lessons , and I’m still learning, is that Arabic could be a living and sophisticated language.

While I was studying Arabic before my thought of Arabic was the same as Latin: a dead language concerning the grammar and impossible to speak.

Thanks to Mr Ghudai’s lessons I realized, without forcing myself, that I slightly strayed to a “human” use of the Arabic language. I sometimes try to talk to myself in Arabic and, even if I feel still insecure and hesitant, I sometimes try to have a short conversation with my professor or some North African friends.

Prof. Ghudai is super-lovable and always very kind with me. But, under his kindness he hides a strong dedication. He sternly drives you to follow the path he chose for you (I must admit I sometimes try to divert ) and I’m very happy with that because I feel like a real student. Even if, sadly, I'm not that young anymore, I can feel I'm improving.
