I began studying with Mohammed while also studying at one of Cairo's many Arabic schools directed towards foreigners, and almost immediately I realized that the school was horrible in comparison Mr. Gudai's lessons. For several years, I had taken many different courses and classes in formal Arabic language, and found that none of them had fully explained certain concepts and aspects of grammar and lanugage which seemed to be constantly reoccurring, yet which no one could fully or properly explain to me. After studying with Mohammed for a few weeks, I came to realize that he had conveyed to me with extreme depth and clarity many grammatical concepts which I had previously thought to be impossible or which other courses had failed horribly to explain to me. I was amazed that I had come to understand such things, and was shocked at how effortlessly Mohammed had brought me to understand them, where so many others could not even come close.
