I spent about two months in Damascus and attended the lessons with Professor Ghudai and I can only be satisfied. I believe I’ve made a lot of progress and learned a lot not only in grammar, but also in basic vocabulary.
I would say that the professorâs patience and the enthusiasm with his students is truly unlimited and I am not exaggerating. I was excited about the things I was learning and I went willingly to the lessons. I also created a wonderful relationship with my host family despite the minor difficulties in understanding.
Most of the time in Damascus I met friendly people with a spirit of curiosity and adventure, which made the day full of good things.
My two Damascene months have passed by very quickly and it was a fantastic experience. I have become very passionate about the Arabic language, sometimes so complicated and difficult and strange to our eyes.
