Some of the best times that I spent during my seven months in Syria in 2010 were in Mohammed’s apartment studying Arabic. Mohammed is a thoughtful, well-organized, and rigorous teacher. He has high expectations of his students, pushing them to learn the material inside and out and to progress as much as possible. I had several teachers before him, and none of them could compare. Mohammed is good natured and has a great sense of humour. I am now studying with him again by distance through Skype, and he has set it up so that you feel like you are right across from him in his apartment! Now as before, I always look forward to my lessons with Mohammed and would highly recommend him as an instructor to beginner, intermediate and advanced students of the Arabic language.
